UNIQUE HEALTHCARE ANALYTICAL FUNCTIONALITY
Linked Measures enable measures such as member information to be brought together from disparate data sources into a single integrated stream of analysis and comprehensive metrics. The system automatically maintains the accuracy of the merging and related Calculated Measures such as PMPM calculations, utilization/1000 rates, ACO metrics, etc., while enabling drill-anywhere into data for flexible analysis unique to the healthcare industry. Cohort Analysis Groups allow the user to define groups of members in one or more data sources with similar clinical conditions or other analytical attributes such as age/gender, BMI, high-cost patients, episode analysis, providers with high LOS (length of stay)/charges. provider profiles, disease management, patient satisfaction, etc., and be able to apply these cohort Analysis Groups to other sources of information. Event-Based Analysis Groups specify a group based on a particular event separated from another event by a specific time interval. These Analysis Groups can also be applied to other sources of information. Examples include re-admission analysis, gaps in care or inpatient admissions within a certain time frame after emergency care, or any other time-based criteria.
Aggregate Statistical Banding expands on the concept of stratified band Dimensions which are based on any Measure (for example cost or risk score) to incorporate a broad range of statistical group options (for example Total Values, Standard Deviation, Percentiles and Segments of Total) against any Measure for any group. This group can be freely applied to all data sources. Examples include ranges of high-cost patients, percentile ranges of LOS or disease severity levels. For more information refer to Futrix 8.
Dynamic Benchmarks provide comparative analysis of both Dimension and Measure values across the entire population of data and can incorporate external sources of information for comparison as well. Also users can easily select between percentage difference and ratio difference from isolated (single or multiple) value(s) and compare them to Benchmark and/or Summary values. Dynamic Grouping empowers the user with tremendous flexibility for categorizing information into different groupings for the analysis they are most interested in conducting. For more information refer to Dynamic Groupings.
Cross-Dimensional Calculated Measures have an ability to define Calculated Measures that can make use of values from any other dimensional measure cells relative to the current one. The functionality that this enables includes creating rolling averages and lag measures for time-sensitive and percentage growth metrics. For example, users can generate the percentage change from previous month's cost per admin and understand the underlying cost trends for admissions. For more information refer to Futrix 8.
Calculated Dimension Value (CDV) Referencing enables CDV's to be referenced within other CDV formulas. For example by referencing other Calculated Dimensions in addition to using conditional logic can be used to perform calculations such as "Positive Contribution %" calculations, where there is a Calculated Dimension Value (CDV) based on other CDVs and also use the Conditional IF Logic on another CDV (e.g. the difference between this year and the year before) so that it is possible to calculate the values of the "Positive Contribution %". If-Then-Else Logic provides for more complex formulas that allow for conditional analysis of different types and drivers for strategic, actionable measures. For more information refer to Futrix 8.
